iRacing McLaren 570S GT4 Guide
The McLaren 570S GT4 is a mid-engined entry-level GT car in iRacing. It runs in the GT4 Falken Tyre Challenge and Falken Tyre Sports Car Challenge. Mid-engine layout gives strong rotation and traction; it can be sensitive to throttle on exit.
Car Characteristics
- Layout: Mid-engined, rear-wheel drive. Agile turn-in and rotation
- Balance: Can overrotate on exit if throttle is applied too early or aggressively
- Aero: GT4 package. Good mechanical and aero grip
- Assists: ABS. Throttle control is key to avoid snap oversteer

Driving Tips
- Turn-in: Sharp. Use trail braking to rotate; avoid late, aggressive steering
- Exit: Progressive throttle. Let the car straighten before full power
- Rotation: Mid-engine helps rotation—use it; don’t fight it with excess steering
Tip: The 570S GT4 rewards smooth throttle application. Unwind the steering as you add power to keep the rear in check.
