PitDelta
PitDelta is a web-based iRacing telemetry debrief tool. Upload a session file and it turns the data into plain instructions: where you lose time by corner, and the one change to make next stint. Compare against a faster teammate, or put the crew in one room. Analysis is computed from telemetry and withheld when the evidence is weak.
Key Features
- Upload iRacing session files — no desktop agent required
- Corner-named time losses and one next-stint assignment
- Metre-level instructions (brake point, throttle, speed carry)
- Benchmark vs a faster driver: learnable pace vs pace you already have
- Crew rooms for comparable teammate sessions
- Quick Debrief card for Discord plus PDF Engineering Report
- Evidence gates: weak signal is withheld, not guessed
What It Does
PitDelta turns iRacing telemetry into a plain-language debrief: where you lose time by corner, and the one change to make next stint. Upload one ibt session file for a Quick Debrief of your own laps, add a faster driver's file for a benchmark that splits the gap into pace you still need to learn versus pace you already have but do not repeat, or use a crew room to compare comparable sessions. Reports name time losses by corner, give metre-level instructions (brake later, carry more speed), and flag repeating habits that cost time in more than one zone. You get a shareable Quick Debrief card plus a PDF Engineering Report. PitDelta is not an AI coach: zone selection and practice assignments come from encoded rules. Weak or contradictory evidence is withheld rather than turned into confident advice.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Plain-language debrief instead of graphs
- No install — drop a session file in the browser
- Benchmark splits learnable gap from inconsistency
- Withholds advice when evidence is weak
Cons
- Free Spotter includes the Quick Debrief only; PDF Engineering Reports and Crew Rooms require paid access
- Needs a long enough session with clean flying laps
- iRacing session files only — not a live overlay
Setup Instructions
In iRacing: Options → Drive → tick Auto-record telemetry → Save. Drive a session of about 10 laps (around 8 clean flying laps; out-laps and off-pace laps are not counted). Open File Explorer → Documents\iRacing\telemetry\ and pick the most recent ibt file (named with car, track, and date). Files under about 500 KB are too short. Go to pitdelta.co, choose Just me, Me + a faster driver, or Me + my crew, then drop the file. Verify your email with a one-time code (no password). Processing usually takes under 90 seconds. Open the Quick Debrief in the browser or download the PDF Engineering Report. Apply one assignment next stint.
Requirements: iRacing Auto-record telemetry enabled. A session long enough for clean flying laps (about 10 laps; files under ~500 KB are rejected). Same car, track, and layout for benchmark or crew comparisons.
