iRacing provides paint templates (PSD, TGA) for each car. Edit in Photoshop, GIMP, or Photopea. Export as TGA, place in Documents/iRacing/paint, then upload to Trading Paints. bojoPaintScripts and similar tools automate TGA export. Templates available from iRacing, Trading Paints, and irpaints.

What It Does
Templates for creating custom liveries. iRacing offers car-specific PSD and TGA templates. Trading Paints and irpaints host templates for oval, GT, dirt, and more. Workflow: download PSD, edit in Photoshop/GIMP/Photopea, save as TGA (car_yourid.tga or car_num_yourid.tga), place in Documents/iRacing/paint/[vehicle-folder], preview in iRacing 3D Car Viewer, upload to Trading Paints. Photoshop scripts (bojoPaintScripts, photoshop_targa_scripts) automate export to the paint folder.

Setup Instructions
Download templates from iracing.com/paint-patterns, tradingpaints.com/cartemplates, or irpaints.com. Open PSD in Photoshop, GIMP, or Photopea. Design your livery. Export as TGA with correct naming. Place in Documents/iRacing/paint/[car-folder]. Preview in iRacing UI 3D Car Viewer. Upload to Trading Paints when done. Use bojoPaintScripts or similar community Photoshop export scripts for one-click export.
