iRacing Built-in Spotter Upgrades
iRacing includes a built-in spotter with configurable options. The Competition Spotter (SPCC) adds damage reports, incident alerts, strength of field, motivational messages, and personal best lap tracking. No extra app—just enable and configure in Options. Free with iRacing subscription.

What It Does
iRacing's spotter provides car position (left/right), clear calls, flags, pit status, and pit reminders. Competition Spotter adds: damage and repair reports with time estimates, race incident notifications, strength of field analysis, motivational messages near race end, personal best lap alerts, and fast lap announcements. Low latency since it's integrated. Third-party voice packs (e.g. JJ Spotter Pack) can replace the default voice.

Setup Instructions
In iRacing, go to Options > Sound. Enable Spotter. Choose Competition Spotter (or Spotter and Crew Chief) for enhanced callouts. Adjust volume and options. For third-party voice packs, install to iRacing sound/spcc folder and select from Voice Pack dropdown. Toggle individual SPCC features in App.ini if needed.
