What It Does
Crew Chief provides a voice-based spotter and race engineer. It tells you gaps to cars ahead and behind, warns of incidents, suggests pit strategy, and gives fuel updates. You can ask questions via voice recognition: "How much fuel do I need?" or "What's the gap to the car behind?" Configure what the engineer says, how often, and map hotkeys to your wheel. Works with iRacing, ACC, rFactor 2, and many other sims. Fully customisable and free.

Setup Instructions
Download from thecrewchief.org. Install and run. In iRacing, disable the built-in spotter in Options > Sound. Configure Crew Chief: choose what the engineer says, set hotkeys for wheel buttons, enable voice recognition if desired. Map shortcuts (e.g. "gap behind" to a button). Run Crew Chief before or when launching iRacing. The engineer will start when you enter a session.
